How does it work?
You will work with a highly trained artist who will design a tattoo to flatter your face shape and give the look of fuller, healthier lips. We start with a consultation to ensure that this design fits your needs. A numbing cream is applied before the procedure begins, and you make yourself comfortable before the tattoo begins.
The design will be based on exact measurements of the rest of your facial features that balance the width, length, shape and color of your lips to beautify the entire face. For this process, you can choose color to give your lips a natural look or get advice from your artist to make them look subtly painted.
The whole procedure takes about one and a half to two hours including design time. This technique can correct uneven lips, scarring and give the illusion of fuller, symmetrical lips. The artist will help you determine the color based on the desired lip effect. Design can range from a natural or nude look to a more colored effect that mimics a translucent color. Ideal for the illusion of a shade color rather than a lipstick effect.
Aftercare
The duration and effectiveness of the process depends a lot on the aftercare you give to the treated area in the next few days and months. There are many factors that can affect the integration and retention of pigments; your skin type, selected color, aftercare and touch-ups. Before and after the procedure, there are a few factors that should be considered, such as drugs, sun exposure, smoking, hormones and age to ensure the effectiveness of treatment. Over the next 30 days, you should come to a closing session that ensures better results. At the end of the process, the permanent makeup artist who has been with you throughout the process will indicate the correct precautions that you need to take for your permanent lip makeup to last longer, which includes:
• Avoid licking your lips
• Avoid hot and spicy foods
• Avoid long exposure to the sun
• Do not touch your lips and avoid makeup for the first 48 hours. Just apply conditioner given to you by your artist.
• Avoid swimming in pools or whirlpools as well as sauna and long steaming showers. We recommend showering with a head shower to avoid direct lip contact with hot water, soap, shampoo or conditioner
